She joined U of A in 2007 after receiving her M.A. in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from the University of Iowa. She also earned her M.A. in Contemporary Chinese Literature and B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from Beijing Normal University, China. She currently teaches Chinese 102 and 201 courses, and supervises graduate teaching assistants.
