Xingyu Wang is a PhD student in Chinese Buddhism. She studies Buddhism and literature in late imperial China, with a particular interest in the intersections between Buddhism and vernacular literature. Before coming to the University of Arizona, she received a BA in Journalism and Communication Studies from Central China Normal University and an MA in East Asian Studies from the University of Alberta.
