Darian Bemis

I graduated with a degree in East Asian Studies: Japanese Language Emphasis, and Linguistics. I hope to use these degrees to become a Japanese to English translator, which has been my dream for several years. I love the Japanese language, and more than that I love the incredible works of art Japanese creators have produced, and I don’t want language barriers to prevent others from experiencing such wonderful works of art. I loved the Japanese language program that the University of Arizona had to offer, and I adored all of the teachers and professors that I got to work under in this department. I genuinely believe I could not have gotten a better education anywhere else.
