I will be using my East Asian Studies and Global Studies degrees to pursue a Master's in International Studies with a concentration in International Politics at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, a collaboration between Johns Hopkins University and Nanjing University located in Nanjing, China. I will use my Chinese language skills I gained at the College of Humanities to take graduate-level classes instructed in Mandarin, live in China for two years, and pursue a career focused on my Chinese skills and knowledge. I have been named a Boren Fellow for my graduate studies in China, and following graduation will work for the federal government in national security.
