Dr. Lewis Lancaster, a Professor Emeritus in the Department of East Asian Languages at the University of California, Berkeley, spoke at the EAS Buddhist Studies Lecture Series at the University of Arizona on April 6, 2016. His lecture, "Buddhist Studies: Past, Present, and Future" featured a talk on the origins of Buddhism and its significance throughout human history, followed by a question-and-answer session.
