Adam Baldry is a PhD student from Mesa, Arizona. After receiving his A.A. from Mesa Community College in 2012, he transferred to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he received a B.A. in Chinese in 2016. Adam received his M.A. in East Asian Studies at University of Arizona in 2018. His main research interest is Chan Buddhist possessions (dàojù 道具) and monastic codes (清規) from the Song Dynasty.
