Ming Wen is a M.A. candidate specializing in Chinese Buddhism. He has a B.A. with honors in creative writing (jhu '11). He worked as a translator and lab assistant in China. In 2017 he was admitted to the EAS grad program.
His research interests are: the commentarial literature of the Song-Yuan-Ming, and the relation between language and spirituality, specifically the metaphor of "turbidity" in literature.
He is currently working on a graduate thesis.
