Christianne Ono is the recipient of the 2015 Blair Prize in Japanese Studies. Christianne graduates from the University of Arizona with a triple major in Economics, Linguistics, and East Asian Studies, with a minor in Math. She has managed to complete all of this in four years, while taking additional classes at the graduate student level. All of Christianne’s professors agree that she is one of the most dedicated students we have had the pleasure of teaching. She received an honorable mention from the College of Humanities for the 2015 Outstanding Senior Award and will be entering our M.A. program in Japanese Linguistics in the fall, planing to graduate in one year instead of the customary two. Congratulations, Christianne!
