The Japanese Language Program consists of four levels: Elementary (JPN101 and 102), Intermediate (201 and 202), Advanced (415 and 416), and Advanced Practice (421 and 422).
The director of the Japanese Language Program is Mariko Karatsu.
The instructors are Mariko Karatsu, Itsumi Ishikawa-Peck, and Megumi Fujio.
All Japanese Language GATs are required to complete EAS 579 - Issues & Methods of post-Secondary Language Teaching, a class in the methodology of language teaching.
